Christmas 2008

And what a textbook Christmas it was! Snow, great food, great wine, great conversations, and a cute little baby to spend it with - Really, could it get any better?

Emily was surrounded by all of her loving family members this entire week - spending Christmas Eve with Grammy J, Auntie Michelle and our good friends, Steve and Suzy.

Spending Christmas dinner with the Mullets.

And topping off the family festivities with a visit from her Meema, Granpapa and two uncles, Saturday the 27th.

Emily helped open a gift or two on Christmas morning - she really enjoyed chewing on the bows. Go figure! She received many adorable outfits and shoes, PJs, a special bonnet made by Grandma Bonnie, ornaments, as well as a few new toys. Her favorite toy seems to be a light-up squishy ball Santa put in her stocking.

It was a great Christmas. A big thanks to my sister-in-law, Jenelle, for hosting Christmas dinner. And a big thanks to all of our family members for making it up to Mountlake Terrace despite the nasty road conditions. We love you all.

Happy New Year!

Loving all the attention on Christmas day!
