Our precious little lamb turned 5 months old October 18th.
Doc says she weighs 15 lbs and is close to 26" long - 55% for weight, 75% for height.
Her personality is really starting to shine now!
She is a really happy, smiley baby - super easy to please and soothe. She's not much for big family gatherings or parties. She's definitely more comfortable in intimate environs with a few folks around. And rather than being held, she enjoys to be free on her back or tummy kicking away and looking around. She likes her space! This little trait reminds me so much of her daddy, her Auntie Michelle and her Grammy Janet.
She sleeps like a hibernating bear - we love it! She got this trait from yours truly and perhaps Uncle Mark. She'll sleep in her swing from 5:30 p.m. until her last feed at 10 p.m. Then she'll sleep until 7 - 7:30 a.m. She wakes up, feeds, and wants to be put back to bed again for an additional 2 hours! The girl needs her beauty rest, okay? All that smiling wears her out. I'm sure this will change soon, but it's pretty much been the routine for a couple months now!
She really likes bath time and doesn't mind water in her face. Future swimmer like Grammy J?
She still loves motion - daytime naps work best in her car seat or swing. Thrill seeker like Daddy? We can't wait to take her on some rollercoasters!
She LOVES being outside. Whether going for a walk with Jonas, going to the dog park or just meandering around our backyard...she enjoys taking it all in. I see Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Steve taking credit for this trait!
She enjoys listening to music and mommy singing all her silly little songs.
