Mother's Day in VEGAS!

Happy Mother's Day to us!!

My mom committed sin: She hadn't been to Vegas in nearly 40 years.
This, my friends, is downright shameful. So I dangled the Beatles LOVE Cirque show carrot above her head and away we went to Sin City!

Needless to say, I think she (we) made up for the lost time.

Ma and Megs rockin' to some Beatles tunes after the show.

Trying our luck at the slots - "c'mon baby!"

Two lovely days in the desert, celebrating Mother's Day along the way.
My longtime friend, Meghan, joined us for the adventure.

First day: excitement, lots of slots and adult beverages.
Second day: pool time, the Beatles LOVE show, more slots, more beverages, and then roulette - in that order. Note to self: Never sit at roulette table after many rounds of adult beverages!
Third day: Morning fuzziness, "where's the bacon and toast?", get me home, ZZzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Side note: The Beatles show was A-MAZ-ING.
First, you have Beatles music. Super awesome by itself, right? No one can beat the coolness of the fab four.
Then you add crazy acrobatics to the mix for raw emotion.
The three of us were rockin' out! It's like we were plucked from 2010 to a 1958/60s rock concert. Buy your tickets and GO!

Dinner at Stack, a very nice restaurant at The Mirage. They had "adult tater tots." Massive tots with cheese on the inside. YUM!

Ready for the late night!

Money and sleep lost, but all worth it! It was a great trip.
